If Miami hasn't got it,
they haven't invented it yet.

TAC 2009 will be the most informative
and action packed IWS conference yet.

NOTE:

Due to major scheduling changes by the airline, it was necessary to change our previously announced TAC 2009 destination. It would have been logistically impossible to transfer our guests along with other non-guest passengers on one flight a day from the U.S. to Curacao. Because of this we made the decision to move TAC 2009 to another destination just as exciting and one we are sure everyone will enjoy, the magic city of Miami.

Purpose

IWS is honored to invite all credit union top achievers to its thirteenth Top Achiever’s Conference (TAC). This year’s TAC will be held in the world’s playground of Miami, Florida. Always bringing you prestigious and unique locations, once again we are prepared to offer you the opportunity to gather and learn, to motivate one another and gain valuable tools that will help you succeed across all product offerings. By attending and participating in all that this conference has to offer, Top Achievers can become ambassadors by transferring the knowledge gained here to their credit union peers back home.

Location

Beyond the radiant sun, surf and sand, discover Miami’s rich history as an entertainment and cultural destination, from world-famous Art Deco architecture to renowned nightclubs to museums and some of the best restaurants in the world.

Experience the casual elegance and refinement of Miami at Marriott Biscayne Bay, a luxury hotel in Miami, FL. Located in the heart of the Downtown Arts and Entertainment District, the Marriott Hotel offers waterfront accommodations with a gorgeous view just minutes from the Port of Miami. Biscayne Bay Marriott also offers convenient hotel amenities such as a pool, fitness center and beauty salon to keep you looking and feeling great.

There are more than just beach bags and bathing suits in Miami. The world's premier playground, offers visitors the best of all worlds -- a rare destination where the cutting edge of urban chic coexists with the beauty and splendor of a tropical paradise. Great year-round weather, top-ranked beaches and the sparkling waters of Biscayne Bay are the backdrops for a cosmopolitan metropolis, pulsing with the rhythms of its diverse population. Boasting a vibrant arts and cultural landscape, renowned nightlife scene and world-class dining and entertainment, Miami draws an eclectic mix of visitors from sizzling celebrities to frolicking families seeking fun in the sun.

Activities

For decades, South Beach has been a favorite social scene for A-list celebrities, as open-roof lounges at boutique hotels offer plush sofas and savory martinis, while clubs promise late nights with music from international DJs. For quieter evenings, oceanfront terraces and patios are ideal for an after-dinner drink.

Every playground has a sandbox, and Miami Beach boasts a seven-mile one bordered by turquoise waters perfect for beach volleyball, snorkeling, jet skiing, and soaking up the sun. On the other side lies the city’s tree-line boardwalk, always filled with runners, walkers, bikers and rollerbladers.

For pleasure, enjoy the arts and culture, dining, shopping, nightlife, and recreation that Miami has to offer. There’s so much going on in Miami, you will need an extra week to enjoy everything that makes this city so vibrant. As the world’s elite playground, Miami promises a 25-hour day; and whether you are an arts enthusiast, foodie, shopaholic, socialite or sun worshipper, there are plenty of options for where to spend that extra hour (or at least wish you had).

Play. Eat. Buy. Party. Relax. Indulge. You just might need that extra hour to sleep.
